Candy movable types is a cool and sweet project made by BLOCD, a brandbuilding, digital company from Barcelona. While they wanted to share their typography love with their customers, they combined the studio’s work style, their identity and the world of design in this typesetting made of candy. Inspired by Gutenberg’s movable types, they produced mint candies in the shape of the six types for their logo and placed them in a package that was specially designed for the occasion – a kraft card package. The silicone moulds for the candies were made together with Papabubble. In our world of communication and design, where we get passionate about every new project we undertake, they wanted to remember Gutenberg with this innovative item. We are sure Gutenberg would have had joy in eating them.
